Scoop out seeds (if any).

Place in tray with water and bake in oven for at least 30 minutes at 160C. The longer, the easier to peel. 30 mins is likely enough though

In a large bowl, combine eggs, egg yolk, white sugar, and brown sugar. Add salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves. Gradually stir in milk and cream. Stir in pumpkin puree.
